We are an equipping ministry for women

With Biblical principles, we equip and empower women to discover and live out God’s intended purpose. Through our weekly studies, weekend, and One-Day trainings, a woman will be fully prepared to better serve her family, community, organization, and church.

When a woman’s life is changed,
a family is changed.

Our team is committed to our vision and mission because We are not only products of change but have also witnessed that when you get a woman in a posture to receive who God says she is and what God has for her, her life changes!

About Tanya Magnus

Founder & CEO

Tanya has over 27 years of business ownership, leadership training, mentoring/coaching, and Bible teaching.

She loves being a constant student of the Bible and declares what Jeremiah said, “his word is in my heart like a fire, I am weary of holding it in, indeed, I cannot.”

Tanya’s God given gifts combined with her education, equipping skills, and her broad knowledge from personal and professional experiences, makes her approach and style very impactful!

Her deepest passion is to guide women to become all that God has intended.

Choose to Soar is born!

For the first 10 years, Tanya equipped women through Bible studies taught at churches in North Texas.

2020

The First One-Day Encounter

What started as a Choose to Soar “workshop,” Tanya began offering full day training sessions to help equip women more thoroughly.

2022

The First Encounter Weekend

Our very first “Live with Purpose” Encounter Weekend kicked off a full series of weekend trainings which have become the bread and butter of how we equip women!

2023

A new home!

For the first time, we had a space where we could hold Bible Studies and other equipping events, where women could find authentic community and Biblical teaching.

2025

Time to pray.

As our ministry grew and the Lord continued to bring women to our Bible Studies, we began praying strategically and boldly for God to provide a permanent spacious place for His daughters.

2026

More room for equipping!

God provided a “spacious place,” and we expanded our home in downtown Rockwall with the sole purpose of equipping and empowering women to become all God intended.
