This past weekend, family and friends were together strengthening each other as we remembered a tragic day a year ago. Although the week ran high with anxiety, and sometimes overwhelming emotions, there was also manna from the Lord wrapped up in laughter and memorable moments.
But as the weekend unfolded, it was the words from a 13-year-old girl that reignited our faith, and hope. This precious girl, who is mature beyond her years, “churched” us all. No wonder Jesus tells us to “become like little children.”
I pray the words from my sweet little cousin strengthen those who are weary and bring us all to praise and trust God without doubts or reservations.
